Matchworn Víctor Mendieta 03.09.00 MEX 🇲🇽 : PAN 🇵🇦 7-1
Manufacturer: Kappa

THE TEAM
Panama celebrated their greatest footballing success only a few years ago, when they qualified for a World Cup for the first time in 2018.
"Los Canaleros (The Canal Men), surely the silliest nickname of any national football team, have been a regular participant in the CONCACAG Gold Cup since 2005, making it to the finals three times but failing each time - most recently this year.
THE SHIRT
Kappa have always done excellent work in the 90s and early 2000s and this jersey is no exception.
Kept relatively simple in red, the shirt comes with a chic collar and eye-catching sleeves. Where the crest and the Kappa logo are both embroidered, the numbers are sublimated into the fabric.
The design was worn only in a few games. My shirt is from a 7-1 clap against Mexico in 2000 and was worn by striker Víctor Mendieta.
Every time I pull it out of the closet, I immediately get an earworm of Van Halen's "Panama."
