Norway is one of those nations that have never been blessed with truly beautiful jerseys. That only changed in 2020 when Nike brought out the popular ice design. When a certain Erling Haaland boosted the popularity of the Norwegian national team, Nike decided to elevate the country into the favor of “premium teams” and equip them with special designs and dedicated player jerseys.
This smart design in the Norwegian national colors, with all the details in the center of the jersey, is particularly spectacular. A special feature of the player's version is the pattern woven into the entire fabric, as well as the glued cloth badge. The eccentric number design also immediately catches the eye! On closer inspection, you can see that the front numbers have a silver-metallic look, while the back number has a metallic blue shimmer.
The shirt was prepared for defender Sondre Langås for the Nations League match against Slovenia and was auctioned by matchwornshirts.com. I was lucky enough to get the shirt for a good price from a collector who had accidentally bought two shirts.
